I am a licensed therapist who works with adults, teens, children, and families, and am someone who believes in the resilience and innate healing potential in each individual. It is my job to work with you to come up with a shared plan to address your concerns, refine or build coping tools and resources, remove any barriers to your wellbeing, and improve your quality of life.
It has been a privilege and honor to work and learn from a diverse group of clients over the years in a community mental health setting in Oakland from 1997-2015, and since 2015, here at BAPTI. I welcome the opportunity to work with BIPOC, LGBTQIA, immigrants and refugees, and other groups who have experienced systemic oppression, racial trauma, and race based stress, marginalization and othering.
