I believe in the intrinsic goodness of all people and that each one of us has the potential to achieve our best self. Through therapy I support clients form a deeper understanding of themselves and their patterns of interaction with the world and people around them. My aim is to assist them in discovering the root of their day-to-day challenges and work from within to bring a positive change in their lives. This includes challenges with stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships (couples and families), and parenting.
I love working with children of all ages (3-18). I have experience providing therapy to children with behavior challenges (at home or school), anxiety, trauma, sensory processing difficulties, and emotional dysregulation (tantrums). In addition, I believe in supporting parents by collaborating on positive parenting strategies and ways to effectively communicate with their children. I draw from a strengths-based clinical perspective and collaborate to form a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients.
I also enjoy working adults and couples, and especially women over 30. Through research for my master’s thesis, I recognized how stressful it is for most women to balance work, relationships, motherhood, and self-care. I engage clients in therapy and offer support that empowers them to reflect and manage life’s challenges. I focus on deeper inner work and therapeutic lifestyle interventions to bring about lasting changes.
