My desire to become a therapist came to me a little bit later in life. As a result, I bring 20 years of experience as a parent and a lot of life experience. I grew up with a sister with an intellectual disability and it profoundly impacted my childhood, but it wasn’t until much later that I realized how it continued to affect me as an adult. Our early life experiences and relationships form us in ways we may never realize. Therapy can be a safe place to explore this and bring the past into the present.

I think of myself as someone who will facilitate you in your journey through therapy. What that may look like is something we will discover together. My process is client-centered and strength-based. I believe the answers you seek are within you; I am here to help you uncover them. Life is relational and I believe therapy should be as well. As we gain rapport, this will allow us to create trust and build a safe space to explore whatever part of your life you want. This is your time.

My training is holistic, strength-based, and person-centered. I have worked with teens and elementary-aged students in schools, focusing on brief, solution-focused counseling sessions. I use various techniques and believe there is no one-size-fits-all. I value feedback and want to know what works best for you.

I am currently accepting new clients and look forward to talking to you.
