We are living in incredibly stressful, difficult times, and many families are looking for some support.

I work with children (preschool through teens), parents, families, individual adults, all configurations of romantic relationships, and non-romantic adult groups and dyads.

If you have a child struggling with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, sensory issues, or the effects of learning differences or social difficulties, or if your child is highly sensitive, gifted or 2e (twice exceptional), I might be a good match for your family. I also work with adolescents and adults grappling with gender identity and sexual orientation, existential depression, anxiety, and other issues. I work with parents too, either in a coaching role or as a therapist helping them work through their own childhood experiences.

I am trained as an art therapist, though I also use talk therapy, play therapy, and sand tray techniques to create a unique and personalized experience for each client. The heart and soul of therapy, in my view, is developing a deep and respectful connection where the client’s true self can be seen and reflected back to them. It is crucial to understand the personal experience and family background of my clients, in terms of cultural differences and beliefs, and to honor their unique position as the expert of their own life. I like to work collaboratively with the client (and their family, as appropriate) to develop and work toward goals towards a healthier, more joyful, authentic, peaceful, and meaningful life.

Please call or email to set up a free consultation, so we can determine whether I might be able to support you, your family, or your child.
