I believe in the power of therapy to create peace, healing, and growth. Coming from a strengths-based orientation, I acknowledge the resiliency required to get you to where you are today, even if this is not where you want to be forever.

Together, we will examine how the past may be impacting your present. By deepening insight into patterns of thought and behavior which do not serve us well, we can foster new, positive ways of engagement with self and others.

My role is to provide you with a safe space in which to explore issues of importance to you, facilitate your process, and cheer you on, every step of the way.

I would describe my demeanor as warm and playful, though I take my clients’ issues and unique traumas very seriously, and believe that our connection will be a key component to your progress in therapy. Particular areas of focus at this time include working with women in all stages of life, helping young adults to develop their identities apart from their families, as well as healing from childhood trauma and dysfunctional family dynamics. I am committed to providing culturally-sensitive services to a diverse group of clients.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I welcome your call or email to further explore whether we would be a good fit.
