Just entering into the psychotherapy relationship can help you feel less alone and more hopeful about the future. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, past trauma, life transitions, emotional reactivity, grief, parenting, work or relationship stress, body image, gender identity or sexual orientation, sexuality, acculturation, low self-esteem or many other issues, our trained counselors would like to support you.

Teens and pre-teens of all cultures can often benefit from mental health services at some point, and especially in difficult times like we have been experiencing recently.

The support of an empathic and well-trained therapist, who works in a safe, supportive, and confidential environment, can help to support young people and help them develop skills to navigate challenges they experience at home, school, and in friendships and relationships. Whether they are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, acculturation issues, questions about sexual orientation or gender identity, behavior problems, substance abuse issues, stress, poor self-esteem, eating disorders, or many other issues, we would like to support you.

  • Child Therapy

Children of all ages and cultures, and their caretakers, can often benefit from mental health services at some point in their lives, and especially in difficult times like we have been experiencing recently.

The support of an empathic and well trained therapist, who works in a safe, supportive, and confidential environment, can help to support children and their caretakers to decrease suffering and distress. Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or is adjusting to divorce, acculturation, new school, or other issues, we would like to support you.

Younger children often don’t have the language to express what they are feeling, so trained therapists can use therapeutic play or art to help children to express what’s upsetting them.

Older children may be able to use conversation, as well as play and expressive arts, to express themselves.

Caretaker/therapist meetings can provide a place to come up with effective strategies that work well to support children through their struggles, and to help caretakers to feel less stressed and overwhelmed with the demands of parenting, and with other life stressors.
