I believe that each of us is the expert on our own life, and also, there are times when we need support. I have over a decade of experience helping people as a teacher, mentor, and counselor.  As a therapist, I see myself as a companion and collaborator on your personal journey toward greater well-being. My approach is grounded in mindful awareness, self-compassion, and courage. I will work with you to explore how your past experiences and relationships have shaped who you are and how you want to relate to them going forward. I am passionate about helping people find pathways to greater connection, inner steadiness, resilience, and belonging. I especially enjoy working with parents, young adults and diverse professionals.

Before settling in the Bay Area in 2008, I lived in five states and three countries. These days, I satisfy my urge to explore by taking my canine companion hiking on one of the East Bay's beautiful trails.

Please reach out for a free 20-minute phone consultation if I may be a good fit for you. I look forward to talking with you.
