I work with adults who are too hard on themselves, especially parents. Do you feel like you should be doing things better? Do you feel guilty when you take time for yourself? Are you ambivalent about parenthood? Learning how to treat ourselves with compassion and balance caretaking for others with self-care is something many of us have to learn. A supportive therapist can help you learn to treat yourself with more compassion, relate to others more authentically, and to enjoy your life more fully than ever before.
Areas of specialization include prenatal/postpartum depression and anxiety, life transitions and relationship issues between partners or between parents and children. I also help support parents raising a spirited child.
