About This Therapist

Welcome and congratulations on taking the first step towards improving your life through therapy. It can certainly be an overwhelming and I dare to say, scary process of choosing a therapist. I am here to provide a safe, judgement free and unconditionally supportive space to begin this journey together. The emotional stability, self confidence, positive mental health and overall wellness of my clients is something that I feel very strongly about improving.

After many years of working with children and their families in a school setting, and making great connections with them to help improve their behaviors and social lives, I realized I wanted to do something more meaningful with my career. I went back to school and received my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. As I have been on this new journey there have been many defining moments in which I have been reminded that this is the right career for me.

I truly believe that we all have the power inside of us to take control of our lives and discover what it is that we are missing in order to gain clarity, peace and happiness. I believe in empowering others to overcome their challenges and supporting them in finding the peace and healing they need to improve their lives. I work through a relational, interactive, strengths based and collaborative lens in which I support my clients at moving towards the best versions of themselves.

I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents and families who have experienced many different types of trauma and who are struggling with symptoms due to various mental health illnesses such as Anxiety, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and ADHD.

I incorporate a range of interventions of modalities depending on the client’s needs and goals such as Art and Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I believe that a strong therapeutic alliance and working in collaboration with my clients towards their therapeutic goals is the key to improvement.

I acknowledge the strength and courage that comes along with taking the first step towards beginning therapy. I would be happy to speak with you to support you in making a decision towards choosing the right therapist for yourself. I can be reached by phone or email.
