There are a million and one reasons to seek out therapy and it is my job to get you where you want to get as quickly as possible.
I grew up and started my training in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I later moved to San Francisco, where I attended school at the Wright Institute, following my intention of being at the hub of all the latest developments in Psychology. Growing up in South America allowed me to be influenced by the Latino culture, be flexible and keep up with the times.
As a result of this, and my years of training, I developed as a down to earth and efficient therapist, who uses scientifically proven approaches, based on the needs and preferences of my clients. I focus on building strong relationships, providing a space where, together, we can assess, develop and implement a plan to get you where you want to be.
I have experience working with families and children with different problems like divorce, behavioral issues, anxiety and trauma. I have also worked extensively with teens (including LGBTQ) and young adults suffering from a wide range of issues such as school and relationship issues, substance abuse, depression, psychosis, chronic trauma and PTSD.
I am a Wright Institute Graduate and Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern working under supervision of Colette Bischer-Choate LMFT 39065.
I am a native Spanish speaker and can provide therapy both in English and in Spanish.
