ABOUT SEX ADDICTION 101 – THE BASICS OF ASSESSMENT & TREATMENT
This 3 hour CE event includes a film screening of “The Courage to Love” – one of the first documentary films ever made about sex addiction followed by a basic training about sex addiction by the filmmaker – licensed marriage and family therapist and certified sex addiction therapist Paul Ginocchio. This event will benefit mental health professionals to help in the assessment of sexual addiction and to understand basic treatment protocols for working with sexually addicted clients.

Paul Ginocchio, MFT, CSAT is a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified sex addiction therapist with a private practice in Walnut Creek. In addition to his clinical work, Paul is the creator of The Courage to Love – a pioneering documentary film about sexual addiction that tells the personal stories of four individual’s journey from the shame of sexual addiction to the hope and healing of recovery. The Courage to Love is one of the first documentaries ever made about sexual addiction and Paul has traveled around the country screening the film to audiences to help educate about this hidden addiction.
